Organosulfur compounds presented in gases for energy application are either deliberately added as a safety precaution due to their low odor thresholds or naturally exist in the gases[l, 2]. However, high quality of gases are required when they are used as feedstock in many applications such as hydrogen production to supply fuel cells [3, 4]. These thiols are strong poisons for reformer and fuel cell materials, also are corrosive to metals because of their acidity. Therefore, it is necessary to remove these compounds either by extracting with porous materialor by transforming them to innocuous disulfides.
