Infection process to chinese cabbage root of endophytic fungus heteroconium chaetospira

Clubroot of brassica crops caused by the soliborne pathogen Plasmodiophora brassicae and Verticillium yellows caused by Verticillium dahliae in Chinese cabbage are most serious plant diseases. Control of both these pathogens has relied on soil fumigants such as methyl bromide, but these chemicals are serious atmospheric pollutants and their use needs to be reduced.
