Type MKZ central stranders and their application in the manufacture of power cables

摘要

Central stranders serve for manufacture of conductors (round, compacted, sector-shaped) with-in the upper cross sectionrange up to 1000 mm~2. For each wire two centrally arranged bobbins are used. which allow stranding from the filled bobbin and winding of the empty bobbin at the same time. Design and function of the machine and its special applications will be described in the paper.
