USING COEFFICIENT OF THERMAL EXPANSION (CTE) TO HELP SOLVE PORCELAIN ENAMEL STRESS -RELATED PROBLEMS

摘要

Results and trends of the thermal expansion and softening points of typical porcelain enamel systems are reported. The technique which combines thermal expansion coefficient testing with industry specific enamel fit testing is promoted to solve stress- related defects seen in porcelain enamel coatings.
