The modern farming methods utilized in today's large animal productions facilities result in high concentrations of animals, feeds, wastes, and odors which have stressed local environment, cities and neighbors to its limits. These farming practices have become "high Profile" to local residents, Environmental activists, and legislative representatives. Thus, these adverse environmental and political conditions may, indeed, threaten the "right to farm" as we know it.
