Improvements in reproductive results in gilts are of utmost importance and thus one of the most influential factors in the life span productivity of the sow. Reproductive control techniques, such as the use of Synthetic Seminal Plasma (SSP) in Artificial Insemination (A.I.),can be a way to improve not only the productivity of the gilt, but also the entire operation.
