A continuous checking of analytical, geochemical, and geophysical measurements has been performed in connection with maintenance of the burning dump pile in Katefina mine near the community of Radvanice in Bohemia. The acquisition of complex data on the dump pile is the main purpose of the measurement. These data will enable us to evaluate the influence of this dump pile on the environment and to rationalise the planning and maintenance work with the aim of its successive liquidation. Some results of thermal and radiometric measurements are presented.
