The purpose of this study is, primarily, to propose a "Cubic Model" as a systematic expression of light distribution patterns or qualitative aspects such as density of light and direction of light, and, secondly, to confirm its validity and reliability applying "Cubic Model" to actual or real interior spaces. As a result of many inspections, the following points were clarified: 1) the essence on density of light and direction of light can be easily and effectively seized in its simpler indication with "Cubic Model". 2) "Cubic Model" has a greater possibility to make a clear composition among many different light conditions and/or lit spaces.
