Development of the process for producing extremely low carbon steel in Nippon Steel, Yawata

Nippon Steel, Yawata Works has developed the process of economically producing steel sheets which are almost pure iron in terms of carbon content (single-ppm carbon in cast slab) on a large scale by developing an innovative degasser and improving continuos casting process.
