Construction of floating power-generating units (FPGU) is one of the perspective avenues of nuclear power progress. Such power units installation is possible in coastal water area in various world regions, Therefore the problem of evaluation of seismic protection level of floating power generating unit equipment with due regard for safety requirements, its placement and structure peculiarities is quite urgent. Floating nuclear plant is designed for power service of remote country areas. Shipping and structional FPGU characteristics ensure its delivery to the shore points in proper working order. Total electric power of the station is 2x38 MW. FPGU dimensions are 140 x 30 m. Two shipboard reactor plants are installed on the unit.
