Dutch approach TO animal health monitoring and pig farm management

摘要

As Dutch farms become bigger, improvements in productivity and their financial implications are rising Therefore, it is important for producers to forecast their production output and development. They have achieved it through optimising their management and getting control over diseases and interfering factors. For the last couple of years our veterinary practice has offered our customers a disease monitoring programme and tools to analyse their management. This paper gives a short overview of the method and tools we use and presents their use in a specific farm case.
