Recent years, in order to attempt the efficient improvement of agricultural work and a reduction of the production cost, the reclamation of a large-sized paddy field is performed prosperously. With a large-sized paddy field, land leveling and maintenance of a field surface becomes difficult. It is important from viewpoints such as surface drainage promotion, herbicide effect and efficiency and accuracy of machine operation to maintain the level of a rice field surface. Then, in order to attempt mitigation of leveling work, the method of leveling using laser leveler after plowing by laser-plow was examined. By combination of laser plowing and laser leveling, the technique which keep the depth of plow layer constant was established. Moreover, working time of 2~3 h/ha which is a goal in a farm management could also confirm possibility of achievement.
