The analysis indicates that an interface adhesion system is set up in the process of tillage between soil and plow moldboard. The interaction between the water film and the surface of plow moldboard has the greatest influence to the adhesion force. It is an effective method for reducing adhesion and resistance of soil to plow moldboard by using the surface material with higher hydrophobic. A special alloy used for the unsmoothed surface units of the plow moldboard is developed with higher hydrophobic and better wear resistance by means of welding of surfacing. The bionics unsmoothed surface plow moldboards are built up. The results of the soil bin test and the field test conformed that the bionics unsmoothed plow moldboards had a noticeable effect on reducing adhesion and resistance of soil.
