Circuit breaker based upon a vacuum bottle technology are nowadays located on the roof of modern locomotives.This work deals with the achievement of an electrical circuit equivalent to this circuit breaker. This circuit is taking into account different parasitic elements such as capacitors, inductances and resistors. The circuit which is able to reproduce the circuit breaker electrical behaviour will be include into a 3D numerical electromagnetic code inwhich it will stand for the disturbing source.This work is supported by the《Laboratoire de Genie Electrique de l'Universite de Pau》, ALSTOM Transport Saint-Quen, 《l 'Office National des Etudes et Recherches en Ae'ronautique, ONERA Meudon》 and ESI France《Engineering Systems International》 EMCgroup.
