On-site PD diagnostics of power cables using oscillating wave test system

摘要

This paper discusses the results of partial discharge measurements in medium voltage power cables using oscillating test voltages. In particular, the sensitivity and the reproducibility of this new method for on-site testing are discussed. Basedon laboratory and on-site tests the usefulness of this PD measuring technique for practical applications is presented.
