摘要

A DC supply for the measurement of DC shunts at currents of up to 3000 A has been developed. The supply uses 12-pole rectification of the output of a 3-phase star:delta/star step-down transformer to produce an output with a ripple of about 2percent. The design of the supply together with its use at NPL is described.
