The contribution of multi-agent systems to monitoring and diagnosis FMS

摘要

This paper presents a multi-agent systems approach to specify, design and implement a control/monitoring system for Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS). We emphasise the agent communication strategy and the monitoring system in the proposed architecture. For each agent we specify the different kinds of information on which the diagnosis system is based.
