Companies like a MS, Oracle, Netscape, IBM, Open-Market, Broad-Vision Electronic are now merchandising e-Commerce solution. Each system has its own merit and demerit. Best product in terms of support of distributed environments is that of Open-Market, and best product in terms of customer marketing function is that of Broad-Vision. A product of Netscape was featured as staging function that enables test to shopping mall operation at initial building stage. IBM's product has the payment system supporting SET itself and tightly coupled structure. Oracle's products is referred to as ICS and featured to be optimized to the oracle, its own DBMS product(URL). IMS is the system adapting all strengths of each product mentioned above, and therefore, is considered as the best e-Commerce solution in terms of overall performance and functions. The IMS introduced in this research adopted multi-thread architecture so that it can handle large volumes of transactions and support various business tasks. In addition, powerful One-To-One marketing function enables shopping mall owners to plan marketing strategy suitable to individual customer. Template/Macro method can effectively design and maintain user interface shown in web browser. IMS will be reinforced with shopping mall building, reinforced marketing function and easier manager program through Wizard function in foreseeable future. In addition, the payment system of SET will be inserted in IMS.
