E.C.B.L.and eurocode 3 annex Z based calibration procedure for buckling curves of compression steel members

摘要

The paper is focused on the problem of defining a system of buckling curves adapted to thin-walled cold-formed steel members.A theoretical method based on the erosion of hte critical bifurcation load (ECBL) is used to that purpose,together with the standard procedure prescribed by EUROCODE 3-Annex Z.Numerical results obtained by applying the method on available sets of experimental results are given.
