It is shown that an electric plasmas microfield depressed the process of three-body electron-ion recombination through highly excited (Rydberg) states: the rate of it decreases while the plasma density increases. The rate of such recombination into states of a non-hydrogen-like ion is comparatively higher than for the equivalent hydrogen-like ion. The comparison with known experiments with OFI-lasers is done.
