Epoxy systems have been known for a long time in decorative and protective system. The patented Air Products Emulsion Curing Agent technology' enabled the manufacture of water damp permeable Self-levelling flooring systems for the first time. This technology enables the formation of a durable internal 3D epoxy network. After completing the hardening process, this system creates a micro porous structure. Due to the special nature of the matrix, only water vapour can pass through the system without liquid reagents penetrating through the top surface. This unique systems is a perfect extension to conventional epoxy and polyurethane flooring systems. This paper will also discus the general performance properties, application possibilities and a detailed description of the internal 3D matrix will be presented.
