The Development of Instrument Drivers in LabWindows/CVI Environment

摘要

With the rapid development of VXIbus technique, there have been a lot of VXIbus system software development plat forms. In contrast with them, We can draw a conclusion that with LabWindows/CVI(C for Virtual Instrument) which is a instrument-oriented interactive development environment and easy to use, programmers can generate program shell and code for calling function automatically, programmers with different programming backgrounds can create instrument freely. This paper introduces the steps of developing instrument driver and how to realize each step, the items when designing soft front panel, and the specification of writing source code.
