For the system design of CO2 sequestration in the deep ocean and for the balance of ecology and development, computer simulation can be a powerful tool. Two numerical simulation methods have been developeddepending on the scale of physics: one deals with the exact movement of interfaces between LCO2 (liquid CO_2) droplets and sea water considering CO2 dissolution and the otehr focuses on the large scale flows concerning the buoyancy of LCO2 such as rising plume, peeling and intrusion on the local ocean scale.
