Integrating interactive visual and auditory feedback

摘要

This paper addresses how to generate coordinated multiple sensory feedback, especially in vision and audition, to enhance human's immersion in virtual environment. The optimal configuration between the graphic output device and audio output device, the coordination of the spatial cue as well as distance cue and the synchronization between auditory and visual generation system are discussed. Finally, the integrated visual and auditory cues for the virtual battlefield are implemented.
