The outgassing of organic materials used in space systems including fiberglass and heat-shielded fiberglass, rubber, glues, lcquers and cables, as well as carbon plastics and glues, was investigated under normal conditions and at elevated temperatures. The composition of volatile products was determined by gas chromatography. It was found that concentrations of those products in a closed volume reached a limiting saturation of 0.07 mg/L at normal temperatures in 80 days while a limiting saturation of 0.29 mg/L was reached at 60 deg C in 50 days. It was found that the weight loss of samples at 50 deg C stopped in 6-8 hours and amounted to 0.35
