Conditions have been established for use of polymer reagents in order to eliminate the negative effect of clay-carbonate minerals on potash ore flotation. It is shown that the flotation method provides more efficient desliming of potash ores than hydroclassification. The use of a combination of polyacrylamide polymers and surfactants for slime flotation provides the best efficiency. A new biodegradable reagent for slime flotation has been proposed. Requirements for depressants for potash ore flotation have been developed. A new depressant that actives sylvite flotation and improves slimes thickening and clarification of saline solutions has been developed.
