Influence on lifting performance of the global stability of a mobile crane with box section jib

There are many factors, attribute to the global stability of a mobile crane, such as weights of the components, the shape of jib cross section, the type of outriggers, the span of outriggers and counterweight. In this paper, the analysis andresearch work of these factors' influence on the global stability have been done, and how the factors affect on the stability is carried out in an example calculation.
