Meiko Central Bridge located at the center of The Ise Bay Highway was completed in 30~(th) March, 1998. The Ise Bay Highway connecting New Tomei and New Meishin, and both new highways are expected to be new main root of Japan. Meiko Central Bridge crossing the Nagoya Port is a 1170 m long three spanned steel calbe sayed bridge. From the previous design stage, its aerodynamic stability was studied carefully because of its size, flexibility and characteristic erection method.
