Development of a health monitorin system for civil structures using a level IV non-destructive damage evaluation method

In the past two decades, a significant research effort has been directed toward the development of structural health monitoring and non-destructive damage detection methods to manage civil structures more efficiently. This paper discusses the development of a general health monitoring system applicable to large civil structures, using a Level IV non-destructive damage evaluation method.
