摘要

A new system architecture for optimum design is presented. The objective of the present work is to contribute to automatize the procedure of shape otpimization of 3D parts: the optimization process is described as tasks operating in a distributed network and coordinated by a pilot system. The principle consists in exploiting the efficiency of specific tools dedicated to the different applications involved: a solid modeler, an adaptive meash generator, a finite-element code and a mathematical programming module. An example of 3D part optimization is presented to validate the system and demonstrate its capacities.
