A novel method and the instrumentation developed for analog measuring of pulse width (T{sub}10 or T{sub}50) and rise time (T{sub}(10-90)) of cardiac defibrillators discharges are presented. The input pulse is applied to an analog delay network and to a peak detector which determines reference voltages. Those phase-shifted signals go to a comparator that generates the control pulse. A counter and a decoder excite the LCD display that shows the measured parameters with accuracy better than 0.33%.
