First, a definition of a good interleaver/permutation is proposed ofr two block codes concatenated in paprallel and in series. We prove a lower bound on their size and describe an asymptotically optimal ocnstruction of a class of such permutations. A simple way to implement these permutations is then descibed. Finaly, two examples are given to show how constructed interleavers outperform standard uniform block interleaver.
