摘要

In this paper wer investigate a methd to improve the transient detection performance ofthe hybrid Bayes/GLRT structure. Such a method imposes a meaningful constraint on the possible transient signal, specifically, we restrict the signal enrgy to be greater than a pre-fixed number to avoid trivial false detections. Numerical results show that such a constrained Bayes/GLRT algorithm is sensitive both to the transient energy threshold and the actual SNR. Heuristic analysis is given as to why this is so.
