As the result of the recent development of the biotechnology, various receptors for peptide hormones have been clarified. At teh same time, the progress of the screening technology and the computer software for molecular modeling have enabled the development of the fragment peptide that interacts with the receptor and exhibits the similar biologic activity witht he original ones.
