The ceramic ball-bearing with a retainer is the most appropriate structure and Si_3N_4 is the most suitable material, made by HIP method, to apply in a hot-dip plating bath.. The developed bearings are applied to manufacturing line and then the following results have been obtained. the support rolls smoothly rotated even under the non-driven support rolls one month continuous operating and another month continuous operating without any troubles application of the ball-bearings lead to reduce the vibration of support rolls and strip as the result, the coating mass distribution in the rolling direction is extremely decreased and the surface performance is obviously improved.
