摘要

Physical analyses of the processes in abrasive material during injection abrasive jet formation and interaction of abrasive grain resulting from this process with a target are the topics of this paper. Processes are described both by derivation of equations and by experimental results. The relationships relevant to a mechanism of the abrasive grain interaction with a target material regarding target material properties are also discussed. Theoretical results are compared with many experimental results performed with a set of garnets with different mineralogy, primary damages, chemical composition and other properties.
