To elevate the safety level of the LNG terminal, it is important to accurately detect possible leakage of LNG. Accordinly, it is important to introduce state-of-the-art technologies. This paper introduces the safety precautions for the LNG terminal, especially a gas leakage detector for possible LNG leakage and a highly selective methane sensor newly developed by us.
