摘要

Micro-porous thin-films of silica and zeolite are among the more promising technologies for energy-efficient separation in industrial gas streams. Accurate transport models are important in choosing the right materials and membrane configurations for a given set of conditions, but micro-porous transport remains difficult to predict. The difficulty is due primarily to the critical and often complex roles of sorption affinity and molecular mobility in the permeation of competing gases in pores of diameter less than 2nm.
