SF_6 ReUse concept and SF_6 new applications

摘要

Solvay is a worldwide supplier of SF_6 since the late nineteen sixties and started to develop a ReUse concept for use SF_6 at the begining of 1990. The ReUse concept was developed for SF_6 coming from electrical equipment, where most of the worldwide SF_6 production is used. In these applications SF_6 has proven to be essential due to its combination of favourable properties such as chemical inertness, high thermal stability, non-flammability and non toxicity.
