This paper details the latest developments made by Vosper Thornycroft Composite Division in the use of composite materials for the protection of various steel structures. The paper discusses the background use of composite materials within Vosper Thornycroft - how these materials were developed for use in the fire protection of offshore primary and secondary steel structures and further uses of the material that have been recently developed.
