Response mechanism has been investigated on the amperometric oxygen sensor of the type.Ag|Ag_6I_4WO_4|PbSnF_4| sensing electrode (SE: a mixture of conductive whiskers,iron (II) phthalocyanine and PbSnF_4).Dependence of the short-circuit-current (Isc) and the electrodmotive force on oxygen partial pressure dindicates that the SE reaction occurs as follows: O_2->2O,O+e->O~-.
