摘要

The IR transmission spectrum fo the irradiated and unirradiatd doped corundum is analyzed in this paper.Theree new IR peaks (2853,2925,2953cm~-1) has bene found.The peaks notably intensified in the spectrum of proton irradiated sample.However,in the spectrum of reactor-irradiated sample,the peaks of the doped Cu sample notably intensiied only.It shows that the peasks ar erelated to the (OH)~- vibration and cation void in the crystal.It is concluded that the dopign Cu in the crystal would affect seriously the crystal quality.
