Performance analysis and evaluation of allocating subbanded video data blocks on mzr disk arrays

Advances in compression, computing power and the development of high-speed networks and high perfor-mance storage devices have enabled to deliver multiple simultaneous video streams to many users by Internet. The continuous media have large size and require real time property. The storage server that stores and retrieves continuous media data should be have high disk and network I/O bandwidths and large memory size.
