摘要

Optimizing the feeding system design of an injection moulded part is of prime importance to improve the quality of the product. The predictive capability of numerical simulation is used in this paper to study the non-isothermal flow of injection moulded thermoplastics through the components of the delivery system (which consists of the sprue, runners and gates). Comparison with experiments demonstrates the validity of our approach.
