On the basis of Seinhansen's model, Buskirk and his co-workers have presented an integral-differential equation model of a single semicircular canal and have made a lot of detailed study since 1973. At the moment the aerospace and space technology, especially the manned space flight, are quickly developing. We reexamined the Buskirk's model and gave out an analytical exact solution using Laplace transform technique. The comparison between the results in this apper and asymptotic solutions given by Buskirk et al was made. It was found that the global error of the output of the system given by Buskirk et al may amount to 8 percent and the theoretical results given by this paper were agreemtn with that of experimental observations. At the same time in order to give out the distribution of the velocity in semicircular canal, a non-standard method of the inverse Laplace transform was also presented in this apper. The exact solution of this paper included all of the results of Buskirk et al and three kinds of dynamical response modes which may be occurrence in practice.
