The rock slopes stability analysis is alwaysrecommendable even in case of the slope presents apparentstable equilibrium. Usually there are three types of study, design,back analysis of failed slope and stability evaluation. Thepresent paper focuses the last one. Traditional methods ofstability analysis are normally based on the limit equilibriumtheory. Such methods utilize rock properties from laboratorytests, geometric, geotechnical factors and load conditions of theslope. By interrelation of forces and data above mentioned, it ispossible to determine well known safety factor; done uponquantitative amount, but of the doubtful values. Therefore, thesafety factor in fact can only represents an evaluation of stabilitylevel, due to the inaccuracy of rocks and boundary conditionparameters. The probabilistic approach is one of alternativeanalysis methods that considers the data uncertainties taking intoaccount the parameter deviations. In this study the new approachof slope stability evaluation is proposed to qualify the safe orunsafe slope conditions in few categories, based on itsmechanical parameters, geotechnical conditions and simple field tests.
