Positive uses of cement dust of Assiut Cement Company, Egypt, in constructional purposes

In Assiut Cement Factory, as in other cementfactories, flying dust represents one of the main hazards thatshould be overcome for both environmental and economicreasons. In Assiut Cement Factory one is faced with the problemof having to collect and dispose more than one thousand tonsof this dust daily, a process which is costly and hazardous.In this work it is endeavoured to utilize this dust to producesome sort of bricks, pavement blocks and floor slabs usable forconstructional purposes.
