It has been found the reactivity of coalcarbonizates to carbon dioxide. The influence of alkalinetreatment of coals on reactionary ability of solid carbonizates inthe gasification process has been considered. It has been shownthat preliminary treatment of these coals with alkaline solutionleads to extraction of humates, practically full elimination of Cl-iones, to increasing of carbonizates yield and specific surface.The gasification rate constant of treated with alkaline solutionlow-grade and salty coals are in 2-10 times higher than non-treated coals. It allows to realize the complex processing ofinvestigating low-grade coals.It has been established that low-grade and salty coals inprinciple could be used as raw material for obtaining of reducinggases by the method of carbon dioxide gasification at thetemperature 1000 deg C.
