Influence of Romanian Apuseni mountains mining industry on the environmental factors

The mining works for the non-ferrous ore depositsin Apuseni mountains is more than 2000 years old. Impressivegold, silver, lead, zinc and copper quantities were mined duringthis period from this zone of Romania. The industrial miningactivity is having a diverse influence on the environmental factors:soil, water, air. In these thesis the sterile deposits which proceedfrom mines, waste dumps and pulp pools, and the administrationmariner in order to have a minimum influence on the environingzones, are presented. It is show the influence of open pits andprocessing plants activity in air regional waters too, theundertaking measures and the results obtained for the negativeeffects decreasing. Underground, open pit mines and processingplants activity for the protection and improvement of theenvironmental factors, are presented. Finally, there areappreciation for the mariner of supervising and collecting dateand the necessary costs that the agents have to support for theenvironment to the purpose of framing them in the European's Standards.
