摘要

The influence of the Mechanical Alloying (MA) application to a classical mixture of 93W-7(70Ni+30Fe) [w/o] powders used tot he Heavy Alloys processing, on the powder particle structural changes as well as on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the obtained, by liquid phase sintering, Heavy Alloys, has been investigated in a first assessment. By MA, individual particles of powder components are transformed into complex ones, containing layers of plastically deformed W and Fe-Ni-W solid solution. After an enough long MA time, they get a nanocrystalline structure of a higher sinteribility than of the initial powder, leading to a finer microstructure and hgiher mechanical properties of the processed Heavy Alloys.
